Les négociations entre l’attaquant Brendan Gallagher et le Canadien de Montréal seraient interrompues en raison du peu de progrès réalisés dernièrement entre les deux parties.
C’est ce qu’a indiqué un journaliste de la chaîne radiophonique TSN 1040 de Vancouver, mardi.

L'agent de «Gally», Gerry Johannson, a confirmé l’information à Pierre Lebrun, de TSN et The Athletic.

Although Gallagher still has a another year on his deal so time for this to iron itself out. But talks have obviously not gone great so far.
Gallagher, 28 ans, doit écouler en 2020-2021 la dernière année de son contrat de six ans et de 22,5 millions $. Sans une nouvelle entente, il deviendra joueur autonome sans compensation l’an prochain.
L’Albertain a récolté 22 buts et 21 mentions d’aide pour 43 points en 59 rencontres durant la dernière campagne, ajoutant quatre points en neuf parties éliminatoires.
Le vétéran a amorcé sa carrière avec le Tricolore en 2012-2013 et revendique 334 points en 547 matchs du calendrier régulier.
